Sunday, April 30 – Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona is a very large port and very busy with cruise ships. Most cruise ships dock quite aways from the port entry. They do run shuttle busses from the ships to assist passengers in getting into the city. However, we were delighted to learn that we will be docking at the World Trade Center which is immediately adjacent to the city.
Because we
spent a week in Barcelona in 2018, there isn’t much on the excursion list that
sounds interesting to us. So, our plan is to just walk around a bit. It is a
beautiful day, and we were able to dig out the shorts again. We stayed fairly close
to the port but had a nice walk and stumbled across a busy bakery. We were a
bit hungry so decided on ham and cheese stuffed croissants. They were really
good. And 2 croissants cost 3.3 euro. Pretty cheap.

By sunset, we had moved away from the storm and had a beautiful sunset.
